ProcessVisual
guide book
We make two
sets of detailed instructions for each job.
We pre-engineer
this information into a "book" which
gives the operator complete step-by-step
information about every component. Each item on
the bill of materials has its own page with
value, polarity, and special instructions clearly
marked.

This allows us
to efficiently run small quantities with accuracy
and quality normally reserved for much higher
production rates.
kit check in
Every job is
completely checked before release to production.
This allows us to catch errors and shortages well
in advance of shipment dates. The end result:
higher quality!
parts prep

Parts are
prepared by machine to minimize damage and
enhance quality. Parts are organized, labeled,
and sorted into bins for production at this time.
smt (Surface Mount
Technology)

SMT parts are
placed either by machine or by the operator
assist stations based on the job requirements.
Our goal is to minimize the total time the job
takes to produce. This provides the lowest cost
and quickest delivery time!
pth (Plated Thru-Hole)

PTH boards are
built in batch mode by operators using the visual
guide book. This provides the efficiency of a
slide-line with more flexibility and less setup
time. It also promotes employee ownership in the
project.
touch-up

Solder
technicians examine each board and add
hand-soldered components as necessary. Operators
are provided with a sample, so each board is
inspected as it is touched up. This way,
inspection rework is minimized.
inspection

JRE does 100%
visual inspection of every single board we ship.
We look at every component for value and
polarity, then we check the solder joints under a
10x -90x microscope.
